Our friend Adelaide gave us Adelaide: The Flying Kangaroo by Tomi Ungerer. We read it each story time. It starts out, "Adelaide's parents were surprised when they saw that their daughter had wings."
We also got Boat Works: A Giant Fold-Out Poster Book by Tom Slaughter from the library. It's grand.
