After a week of snow days we finally went back to work and school yesterday. We are still waiting for our mail (1 week) and trash pickup (over 2 weeks), but at least we didn't lose power. On Friday morning at 2:30 am, we woke to hear our street being cleared for the first time -- by a mini bobcat frontloader. There was a lot of ice to break up with no good places to put it.
We broke out the new humidifier and filled it up.
Amtrak canceled our first overnight visitor. The sweetheart ball at daycare also got rescheduled.
